Upcoming Exhibition at the Royal Society of Sculptors

Neus Torres Tamarit has been selected to exhibit at the Summer Show: 'There's No Place Like It' at Dora House, 108 Old Brompton Road, South Kensington, SW7 3RA. The exhibition runs from Saturday 19 September to Saturday 28 November, Monday to Saturday, 11am-5pm.

Selected by this year's guest curator, Henry Holland, the exhibition explores the idea of home through the language of sculpture: ‘works that reflect comfort, memory, ritual and belonging, and the objects and spaces that quietly shape our everyday lives. From the intimate to the architectural, it asks what home really means to us personally, emotionally, physically and culturally.’ The opening also marks the completion of the latest phase of restoring Dora House, on the 50th anniversary of Cecil Thomas's gift of his former home and studio to the Society. There'll be an unveiling of the new basement flat for sculptors in residence, along with the workshop, meeting room and archive room, a fitting complement to the show's theme.
